Ceramic Pro is a non-toxic product and the tests performed by SGS are as follows: ASTM F963-08 (4,3,5) Lead heavy metals, antimony, arsenic, barium, cadmium, chromium, mercury, selenium. Result: not detected in all tested substances.
UV protection prevents paint, rubber and plastic from aging. Tests performed by SGS; ASTM G154-06 and ASTM D2244 determine color changes on surfaces exposed to UV light. Result: no color change detected.
ASTM D3359 Adhesion Test. This test covers the adhesions of the coating films to metal substrates by applying and removing the pressure-sensitive adhesive tape. Result: no loss of coating even using the strongest tape.

The coating can be applied at temperatures as low as-20 Fahrenheit. Once hardened, the coating offers protection against extreme temperatures ranging from-50 to 2200 degrees Fahrenheit.
Oxidation and corrosion
Ceramic Pro protects paint and metal from contact with water and oxygen, thus preventing oxidation and corrosion. The ASTM B117 salt fog corrosion test provides a controlled corrosive environment that has been used to produce corrosion resistance information for metal and coated metals exposed in a chamber of a given test. The chemical tests performed by SGS and internally are as follows: 5% salt mist for 350 hours without visible result, 5% salt mist for 5 000 hours without visible damage (internal test).
The coating is 100% resistant to contaminants and aggressive chemicals. Once hardened, the only way to remove the coating is a strong abrasion. This test is useful for evaluating the flexibility of coatings on substrates. Result: 0 mm of coating loss at 180 ° of rotation.
In the coating industry, the hardness of the product or its ability to withstand scratches is determined by the pencil test. In the pencil test performed by SGS (JIS K5400), a coated panel is placed on a firm horizontal surface. The pencil is held firmly against the film at an angle of 45 ° (opposite the operator) and discarded from the operator by 0.256-inch strokes.
