Ceramic Pro Technology proven to deliver results

CERAMIC PRO Technology has been tested and supplied

Tested by SGS, the world’s first control, verification and CERTIFICATION Enspecter.
The Ceramic Pro coating technology is remarkable because it works. Not only has the product gained the reputation of being the best in the industry, but we also have data to prove it. Ceramic Pro products have been tested by SGS to prove that all claims are real. The results show not only that they work as advertised, but also show key points on hardness, flexibility, adhesion with real quantifiable numbers.

quantifiable actual results

NONTOXIC

Ceramic Pro is a non-toxic product and the tests performed by SGS are as follows: ASTM F963-08 (4,3,5) Lead heavy metals, antimony, arsenic, barium, cadmium, chromium, mercury, selenium. Result: not detected in all tested substances.

UV PROTECTION

UV protection prevents paint, rubber and plastic from aging. Tests performed by SGS; ASTM G154-06 and ASTM D2244 determine color changes on surfaces exposed to UV light. Result: no color change detected.

DURABILITY

ASTM D3359 Adhesion Test. This test covers the adhesions of the coating films to metal substrates by applying and removing the pressure-sensitive adhesive tape. Result: no loss of coating even using the strongest tape.

Properties

Temperature

The coating can be applied at temperatures as low as-20 Fahrenheit. Once hardened, the coating offers protection against extreme temperatures ranging from-50 to 2200 degrees Fahrenheit.

Oxidation and corrosion

Ceramic Pro protects paint and metal from contact with water and oxygen, thus preventing oxidation and corrosion. The ASTM B117 salt fog corrosion test provides a controlled corrosive environment that has been used to produce corrosion resistance information for metal and coated metals exposed in a chamber of a given test. The chemical tests performed by SGS and internally are as follows: 5% salt mist for 350 hours without visible result, 5% salt mist for 5 000 hours without visible damage (internal test).

Chemical resistance

The coating is 100% resistant to contaminants and aggressive chemicals. Once hardened, the only way to remove the coating is a strong abrasion. The chemicals tested and produced by SGS include: alkalis, acids and salt JIS K5400. This test method identifies the resistance of the coating to sodium carbonate, sulphuric acid and sodium chloride despite high exposure. Result: 5% Na2CO3 for 24 hours: No visible damage, 5% H2SO4 for 24 hours: No visible damage and 5% NaCL for 96 hours: no visible damage.

SGS Test

The tests were performed by SGS. SGS is the largest and largest inspection, verification, testing and certification company in the world, recognized by millions of people.

The flexibility

Ceramic Pro has proven to be a perfect coating for surfaces exposed to dilation and deformation. The test performed by the SGS is the bending test of the mandrel (ASTM D522 test). This test is useful for evaluating the flexibility of coatings on substrates. Result: 0 mm of coating loss at 180 ° of rotation.

Hardness

In the coating industry, the hardness of the product or its ability to withstand scratches is determined by the pencil test. In the pencil test performed by SGS (JIS K5400), a coated panel is placed on a firm horizontal surface. The pencil is held firmly against the film at an angle of 45 ° (opposite the operator) and discarded from the operator by 0.256-inch strokes. On a scale from 6b (the softest) to 9am (the hardest), Strong was tested and ranked above 9am. Impact in the shock resistance test performed by SGS (ASTM D2794 test), the coatings attached to the substrates are subjected to damaging impacts during the manufacture of the articles and their use in service. This method of testing for impact resistance is useful for predicting the performance of organic coatings and their ability to withstand the cracking caused by impacts. Result: 80/80 inches pounds.

Accession

The test performed by SGS is the ASTM D3359 membership test. This test covers the procedures for evaluating the adhesion of coating films to metal substrates by applying and removing pressure-sensitive tape on the cuts made in the film. Result: 5b (no loss of coating when using the strongest tape).

UV Protection

UV protection prevents paint, rubber and plastic from ageing. The tests performed by SGS; ASTM G154-06 and ASTM D2244 determine color changes on surfaces exposed to UV rays. Result: no change in color

Weight

A hardened layer of Strong weighs between 0.2 and 1 gram/square foot depending on the porosity of the surface.

Hydrophobicity

A surface level of hydrophobia depends on the angle of contact of the water with the surface. The higher the angle, the less dirt or liquid on the surface. Strong 2.0 has a contact angle of at least 110 degrees.

Electrical resistivity

The capacity of the coatings to drive the electricity at room temperature is extremely low. With higher temperatures the conductivity increases.

Changes in brightness or color

The coating does not always increase the gloss. It preserves the brightness of a surface at the time of treatment. The color and brightness depend on the surface being treated.

Non-Toxic

Ceramic Pro is a non-toxic product and the tests performed by SGS are as follows: ASTM F963-08 (4, 3, 5) Heavy metal lead, antimony, arsenic, barium, cadmium, chromium, mercury, selenium. Result: not detected in all substances tested.

ECHA REACH Ceramic Pro Test has been tested against 144 extremely sensitive substances (SVHC). List of SVHC substances based on the publication of the European Chemicals Agency (ECHA) in June 2013. Result: not detected in all substances tested.

VOC Ceramic Pro Strong complies with VOC standards at 5.2 g/litre.
